{"id":151,"date":"2026-04-27T15:03:27","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T15:03:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.hostinghappisoft.xyz\/la-cnfo-a-geneve-porter-les-enjeux-des-noirs-francophones-de-lontario-a-linternational\/"},"modified":"2026-04-27T15:03:27","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T15:03:27","slug":"la-cnfo-a-geneve-porter-les-enjeux-des-noirs-francophones-de-lontario-a-linternational","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cnfo.org\/en\/la-cnfo-a-geneve-porter-les-enjeux-des-noirs-francophones-de-lontario-a-linternational\/","title":{"rendered":"The CNFO in Geneva: bringing the issues of Ontario's Francophone Black people to the international stage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From April 14 to 17, 2026, in Geneva, the fifth session of the Permanent Forum on People of African Descent brought together committed leaders around issues of justice, equity and the development of Black communities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Coalition of Francophone Black People of Ontario (CNFO) was proudly represented by its president, Julie Lutete, accompanied by Marl\u00e8ne Th\u00e9lusma and Gouled Hassan.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/cnfo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG-20260425-WA0029.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9428\" style=\"width:323px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udfa4 In her remarks, Ms. Lutete highlighted a major issue: systemic discrimination within Ontario's justice system.
